Living near Outpost, the local ice skating rink, feels like having a winter wonderland at our doorstep—without the snow shoveling! It's a joy to watch our neighbors transform into athletes every weekend, gliding gracefully one moment and stumbling the next. A trip to the rink becomes a game of "Will they fall?" The best part? The delightful aroma of hot cocoa fills the air as we cheer for our friends to master that triple axel—after all, if they don't, we’ll have great blooper material for the next neighborhood gathering!
For a small fee, you can rent some skates and hop on the ice too! I am posting this since I almost forgot about ice skating all together until my daughter got invited to skate last week!
